Taking inspiration from traditional paper art, local artist Joe Wong created this
installation with a plethora of red and golden “Lee Gardens Flowers” to celebrate our
beloved city’s important milestone. Blooming along a dynamic pathway in the shape
of the number “25”, the floral installation symbolizes new opportunities and a
promising future to come with the support of our Motherland.
The production is supported by Wofoo Leader’s Network of Hong Kong Institute of
Vocational Education (Kwun Tong) and Women Sewing Union, a non-profit
organization, which strives to pass on art and craftsmanship – an important asset of
our society – to the next generation local craftspeople.
